I noticed Buffalo owner signed Brendan Gallagher through FA today and he was placed on his main roster right away.
In the rules for the regular season with Free Agency, it states players must be put on minor rosters after the bidding process. So can we assign FA players right away after the bidding process on main rosters if open placement spot is available or owners must transfer from minor to main roster with notification (have open minor roster spot open)?
