What was the rule regarding KHL contracts? I cant seem to find it.

It’s under “league rules” and then “KHL Roster Spot”

Here’s my understanding, if a player leaves nhl to go to khl, he becomes eligible to be placed in a khl spot, which would give you an extra roster spot while not having to outright drop him. Sounds like his cap hit remains, but against AHL or NHL roster, I’m not sure?

how does that work on fantrax though? i cant give myself an extra spot.

Cap doesn’t count towards either NHL/AHL roster. And as for Fantrax I would say you can release them, as all signings go through proboards anyways

wasnt an impact player. i just dropped him. thanks for the help though!
